Welcome to HEREINMYHEAD.COM! Created in 1996, this fan-site has grown to be referred to as the largest, most comprehensive information resource for Tori Amos fans. Thanks to the encouragement and support from fellow webmasters and fans, this site continues to thrive.

HEREINMYHEAD.COM was created and is maintained by Audrey Romano. I was introduced to the web in 1994 and began teaching myself web design in 1996. I started this site as part of a personal site, to keep track of links to other Tori Amos sites, my collection of cds, and lyrics. Over time the site grew; I’m kind of a completest. Back then, I thought surely it would retire once I graduated college. But by then the site was well-visited, and Tori constantly provided more inspiration that kept me going.

So many, many Tori Amos sites have come and gone, and I miss them. While I tend not to have the time to keep everything updated or redesigned on a regular basis, I feel the site is still vital to the community. I do receive your emails, but please understand if I can’t get back to you in a timely manner. I do try to update with any exclusives I come by or the really big news items, but I, personally, go to Undented.com for the latest and greatest.

Much of this site is still static and not maintained via a content management system. This is something I’ve wanted to upgrade for a long, long while, but again it comes back to time and, of course, redesign. While I’m a web designer by trade, I have my real life and a lot hobbies that all compete for time. Although, whenever a new album is on the way, I do feel a pressing need for change. The updates (home) is powered by Wordpress. But I pretty much code everything else in HTML/CSS using a text editor. The site design is original and created using Adobe Photoshop. The site is hosted by DreamHosting.
