NPR MORNING EDITION INTERVIEW
November 27, 2002
NPR Morning Edition | Tori Amos appeared on a segment of Morning Edition on National Public Radio (NPR) today, Wednesday, November 27, 2002. I was actually asked to participate, and you will be able to hear one of my comments during the piece. Basically, on Nov 14th, I received an email from NPR saying that they were working on a story on Tori Amos that will run on Morning Edition, and they were interested in speaking with somebody that runs a Tori Amos fan site for the piece. They contacted me a couple hours later by phone and asked me several questions about my website, about the types of fans who visit it and my opinions on why fans love Tori. My interview was about 10 minutes long, but they (thankfully) only aired one comment, whew! (I was just really really nervous, so I only hope that I don’t sound too dorky!) As usual, Tori was amazing and spoke about her fans and her dream of composing a musical! The program is now available for listening at the NPR Website.
