Honey was originally scheduled to be included on Under The Pink but was left off because of lack of space. The studio version of Honey appears on UK Pretty Good Year (Part 2) and the US Cornflake Girl singles, while a live version graces both the UK Hey Jupiter/Professional Widow and US Hey Jupiter singles.
"This is my favorite song from Under The Pink. Um, but the thing is, it's not on Under The Pink because it got kicked off at the last minute in mastering 'cause I'm such a dang-a-lang! Anyway, she's my favorite and it's like, ya know...(sigh)"

"This song was the first one written, kind of. Finished, anyway, with a pink paper. And the funny thing is, it didn't get on the record, because she decided that she wanted to be a b-side. Sometimes they decide that. And she's probably my favorite of all of them because um...she reminds me of New Mexico. The most incredible place. If you've got nothing to do this summer, you can come to my house and visit me. I'll make our lemonade."

"That [Honey] was going to be on the album [Under The Pink], but I knocked it off. But Honey was OK with it. She was OK, she really was. We had a long talk about it. Because believe it or not, shes getting great status as a b-side. People love her. So shes getting all this praise because shes a bit of an underground song. Shes a bit of a cult song, so she kind of loves this attention. Shes getting more attention than she would if she were on the album. I think everything has its place. The only regret I ever have is that Upside Down wasnt on Little Earthquakes."
