Hey Jupiter was released in the UK as
a double A side single. The CD leads off with
Hey Jupiter (Dakota Version), a
wonderfully slow and somewhat industrial remix,
while the 12" (The first vinyl single released in
the UK from Boys For Pele) features
Professional Widow as the A side.
Professional Widow entered the UK
Dance Charts at number one and the singles chart
at number 20, the highest position yet of any
Boys For Pele single. The CD contains a radio
edit of the remixed Professional Widow
as well as newly recorded live versions of Sugar
and Honey. The 12" contains an edited
version of Hey Jupiter that is not
found on the commercial CD single, but is found on the US promotional-only
CD single. Also included is the long (11:27) remixed version of
Talula. The CD insert contains a
color shot of Tori that is actually a slightly different photo
from the picture the cover was taken from. The disc itself is a
picture CD, Hey Jupiter was the first
UK single since God that was not released
as a 2-part CD single. The timing of Sugar
is incorrectly stated as 5:43; it is actually 5:33 and would appear
correctly on the US release the following month.
