Under The Pink's first US single
and Tori's first number one single, albeit on Billboard's "Modern Rock Tracks" chart. God
includes Piano Suite from the UK single of Cornflake Girl
and adds Home On The Range (Cherokee Edition), an alteration
of the traditional version with additional lyrics added by Tori.
God
is packaged in a plastic and cardboard case with a
completely different cover than the UK version that
would be released six months later. American radio
was hesitant to play God because of
its too funky and excessive (they thought) guitar
parts, so a 3-track promotional-only single was
released with two remixed versions of God
"No Guitar" and "Some Guitar,"
as well as the original album version.
