1,000 Oceans was the second
single to be released in the US from the album,
To Venus And Back.
1,000 Oceans was first released on September 7, 1999
as a 2-song single containing the LP Version of 1,000 Oceans
and the non-LP Live version of Baker Baker.
Then, on September 28, 1999, the CD5 Maxi-Single
of 1,000 Oceans released.
The Maxi-single contained one more extra track than the regular CD single of
the non-LP live version of Winter. It is also a special
Hyper-CD that contains
an exclusive bonus video of 1,000 Oceans, viewable only
in conjunction with the Atlantic Records Website. Like Bliss,
Atlantic released 1,000 Oceans as a regular CD single, Cassette, 7" Vinyl
and a CD5 Maxi Single. 1,000 Oceans was sent to Pop, Hot AC and Modern AC radio
in the US in September 1999.
