Things may have been a bit wonky recently. The site was hacked (malware insertion), header images broken in the gallery, and album and video pages not working quite right. These issues are fixed now. Also, the lyrics to Night of Hunters have been added (belatedly).

I’m going to try to get all of the old information back on the site. But due to very happy life events, I doubt I’m going to maintain this site much better going forward. I’ll do the best I can though. Thanks for all of your support!

(9/8) Toriamos.com is holding a contest (US-only) to win front row Night of Hunters Tour tickets and backstage passes to meet Tori (with proof of album purchase). Other prizes include autographed Night of Hunters vinyl LPs. Contest ends September 20 at midnight PST.

(9/8) iTunes Night of Hunters pre-order includes 2 videos, bonus footage, lyrics and EXCLUSIVE download of the score. ~~The word on the street is that there has been confirmation from the iTunes Store that the score is “an instrumental version of the original album” (via @toribr & FeelTheWord).~~ The iTunes Store album details also mention that it is an iTunes LP, meaning that it includes “a visual experience of the record album in which you get a gorgeous, immersive experience to enjoy” — this simply refers to the bonus features that can include lyrics, liner notes, videos, photos, etc.

EDIT: Undented “received confirmation that the score will be the physical sheet music for all the tracks, but not just the piano parts — the parts for all of the instruments in each song.”

Many of you have been asking where have certain beloved sections of the former site gone and are they coming back… in particular, the Diagnosed Sounds and Tori Tarot. Well, never fear, these sections are still live! I’m still trying to figure out the future of Diagnosed Sounds, but as for the rest of the sections, I linked to them from a page called The Vault. This page lists areas of the old site that are retired and won’t be updated any further, but you’ll still be able to access the content whenever you wish. You can find the link to The Vault at the bottom of each page of the site in the footer.

As for the rest of the content that still needs to be migrated or updated, I ask for your patience (but, hell, you’ve waited 10 years for a new layout, I’m sure you can handle a few more weeks!). I’ve also been busy adding new features, fixing broken ones, adding security and other less exciting, but important things. I’ve been so surprised by the positive response to the new site; you have no idea how much I am touched your support and feedback. It really energizes and motivates me to continue working hard to make something you’ll value. Thank you!

It’s been quite a while hasn’t it? So, there’s a new site design finally after 10 long years, but more than that it is now in something that I think I can manage better. Things are gonna change, for sure. But for now, I’m trying to get everything to work, so please be patient as I move everything over that is salvageable and furiously get it up to date. I hope the site is more useful to you, and with your help, continues to grow. I can’t tell you how much I’ve appreciated your kindness and support over the years. If nothing else, whatever happens as life continues on, this site will exist as an archive of what brought us all together — on the web and in real life: Tori Amos.
