Hereinmyhead.com was created and is maintained by Audrey Romano. Audrey is a web coordinator working in higher education. She has been designing and implementing websites since 1996. Prior to 2004, she worked as an environmental scientist for an environmental consulting firm.

When not designing, Audrey is usually traveling, consuming media, home-renovating, playing rock band 2 with her husband, or running around after her Boston Terrier. She is kind of addicted to knitting, thrifting, photography, fashion, reading, and making lists.

Audrey became a Tori Amos fan in 1994 while browsing through her dad’s CD collection, that impressively included Little Earthquakes and Under The Pink. With fifteen years of classical piano training, she was impressed and inspired by Tori’s transformation of this traditionally classical instrument. Tori’s unique playing style, intricate melodies, passionate vocals and soul-baring lyrics resonated more deeply than any other music at the time. Choosing one Tori song as a favorite is a challenge, but obviously Audrey has an affinity with the b-side, Here. In My Head.
